Q.  Exactly what is the Northeast Tiki Tour?

A. The second annual Northeast Tiki Tour is a three-day event that honors and celebrates the unique appeal of mid century Polynesian restaurants. Attendees include tikiphiles, exotica buffs, mid-century enthusiasts and cocktail fans. This 21 and over event includes a Friday Night poolside music fest at the motel, the Saturday bus tour to five mid-century Polynesian restaurants, and a yet-to-be-announced activity on Sunday.

Q. What do I get for my money?

A. The purchase of the $45 NETT ticket gets you a Friday evening concert with Waitiki and 9th Wave, one bus seat on the Saturday tour, free cocktails on the bus, transportation to all five tour stops, a hula and Tahitian dance show, your share of any swag we collect and the pleasure of about ninety-nine other tiki enthusiasts.  You are responsible for all other expenses.

Q.  What kind of transportation is used?

A.  We will be traveling in two 50 passenger air-conditioned charter buses.

Q.  Does the bus have a bathroom?

A.  Yes.  Both buses have a bathroom located in the rear of the bus.

Q.  What if the tour bus is delayed due to traffic? Will we spend less time at each stop?

A.  Any delay in traffic just means that the overall tour will go a little longer. We know that you want spend time at the stops and we don’t want to spoil the experience by rushing everyone off.

Q.  Are kids allowed on the bus tour?

A.   No. Because alcohol will be permitted on the bus and all the stops have bars, the Northeast Tiki Tour is a 21 and over event, with no exceptions.

Q.  I didn't get a seat on the bus.  Can I just meet up with you guys at one of the stops?

A.  No.  We're really sorry that as many people as wanted to join us couldn't.  Really.  But for reasons liability and enjoyability we need to keep the Tour limited to just two buses.  Please don't ask us to bend the rules.

Q.  I live too far away to make this a day trip. Where can I stay?

A.  The official hotel for this year’s Tour is:

Knight's Inn
225 Newbury St
Danvers, MA 01923
(978) 774-6500

Q.  Are pets allowed at the Knight's Inn?

A.  No.

Q.  How come this FAQ is so short?--I have a question.

A.  It's short because we still don't know what questions people have.  If you have questions, send them to pappy@northeasttikitour.com and I'll try to get an answer for you.
